A journey is simply a series of steps. Journeying with people towards Jesus means helping them take steps of faith, becoming more like Christ.
Our Aim: To be a church that is consistently seeing faith stories happen, God moving in peoples lives.
What is a Faith Story? - The key elements of a faith story are clear life change and the Holy Spirit’s obvious involvement.
What does this mean?
God desires to see peoples lives changed throughout our church and the community. We believe the Holy Spirit is always at work and it is our job to partner with the Spirit by journeying with people towards Jesus, loving and caring for them along the way.
It’s important that we meet people where they are but that we love them enough not to leave them there. We walk side by side, pointing people towards Jesus. Whether people have no interest in faith, are new to faith, or are some way along the journey, we can all take further steps towards Jesus and that’s our goal at Craigie Baptist Church.
